Took a day trip with my son to the “world famous”
Mabe’s Pizza in Decorah. Iowa on Wednesday to
commemorate my wife’s birthday!
(she passed away about 3 years ago)
Son Jon was on his Kawasaki Versys 300 and I on
my Vulcan 900. Beautiful weather lately!
How ALL Mondays should begin!
Cold and chill, bless the Lord
Dew and rain, bless the Lord
Frost and chill, bless the Lord
Ice and Snow, bless the Lord
Nights and days, bless the Lord
Light and darkness, bless the Lord
Lightings and clouds, bless the Lord

Out doing some photography this morning.
Found this little beauty parked near a train bridge.
A few other shots from this morning….
My son, headed out to the Thunder Ride for Juvenile Diabetes today
with his 8 year old son Jack. Riding his Honda Reflex today but they’ll
actually be driving the support truck in the ride.
He’s tempting me to buy the Reflex! (wants a newer one)
Several times a summer, Rudy’s Drive In (LaCrosse, WI) has a
“Bike Night”, with half the place set aside for motorcycles only.
The place looks like a former A&W drive in and the waitresses
still deliver your food on roller skates!

My 8 year old Grandson rode with his dad on his Kawasaki Versys 300.
Nice looking Ural!
Leah, a girl who has been riding her Indian all over the country.
The put more than 20,000 miles on it in the first year.

Well, I DID ride the Vulcan to get here. That counts, doesn’t it?
Just out for little toasty ride. Been beastly hot for the last couple of days, but it still beats sitting around the house.
Out for a ride and just had to stop and take the shot.
God’s a master scenery designer!
The heavens proclaim the glory of God
and the firmament shows forth the work of his hands.
Day unto day takes up the story
and night unto night makes known the message.
No speech, no word, no voice is heard
yet their span extends through all the earth,
their words to the utmost bounds of the world.
There he has placed a tent for the sun;
it comes forth like a bridegroom coming from his tent,
rejoices like a champion to run its course.
At the end of the sky is the rising of the sun;
to the furthest end of the sky is it's course.
There is nothing concealed from its burning heat.
As hot as it is today, I thought I’d try out the detachable feature
of my windshield. Just flip a couple of levers and it’s off.
I kinda like it. I may leave it off when the weather is warm.
Gives the Vulcan a more classic look.
Still, it was 96° today so the “air conditioning” didn’t help much.
